Former Major League baseball player and Hall of Fame manager Tom Lasorda reportedly suffered a mild heart attack while in New York City.
He was immediately taken to a hospital and is expected to recover. Doctors say he is in stable condition.
"The doctors confirmed I do bleed Dodger Blue. I´m looking forward to being back at the stadium to cheer on the Dodgers," the baseball icon said, according to the Dodgers´ Twitter feed.
